Darling Dawson: A Photo Tour

Beautiful, lush gardens grace the new homes in Dawson, bringing the area’s unique ‘Housing-in-a-Park’ concept to life. As part of the first Remaking Our Heartland programme, this historic area in Queenstown received a makeover, bringing nature closer to the lucky residents here!

Over here at MyNiceHome, we are delighted to share some picks of what we saw – who knows, this might be the next top place for insta-worthy shots in the heartlands!

Get to Queenstown MRT station and you can start your tour from there, in just a few minutes. The iconic skyscraper blocks, SkyVille @ Dawson and SkyTerrace @ Dawson, will draw you in.

Walk along the Alexandra Canal Linear Park for a scenic stroll between the new and well-loved precincts.

You can discover Queenstown’s heritage through giant murals found along the corridors of SkyVille @ Dawson. But the main reason why most people come here can be found on its roof garden!

Offering a nearly 360-degree view of the surroundings, the Sky Garden at the peak of SkyVille is the highest point in Dawson. It is the perfect place to take your memorable #OOTD shots!

Conserved rain trees and interesting plants, such as Scarlet Spiral Flag, can be found around SkyVille @ Dawson’s community gardens.

The ‘hanging’ terrace gardens at SkyTerrace @ Dawson are also great photo spots, and here you can catch a breath-taking view of Queenstown from above.

Find out more about the transformation of Dawson in the Dwellings article, Queenstown Reborn.
