November 2017 Sales Launch: Tampines
An Eastie at heart? Tampines is up for selection in HDB’s November 2017 Build-To-Order (BTO) and Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) exercise.
In Tampines GreenCourt, flats ranging from 2-room Flexi to 5-room are affordably priced from as low as $83,000 and $438,000 respectively, after housing grants.
Tampines GreenCourt is a large development that will offer 2,192 flats ranging from 2-room Flexi to 5-room to suit every budget and need.
Tampines GreenCourt will also house a supermarket, an eating house, 2 restaurants, and shops. Other amenities within the development include 2 childcare centres and a Residents’ Committee Centre.
Roof gardens and an environmental deck are outdoor spaces for residents to interact with their neighbours. The development will also be surrounded by several neighbourhood parks, and plenty of greenery.
Tampines Regional Centre, where Tampines MRT station and bus interchange are located, offers even more shopping, dining and recreational amenities. Besides neighbourhood shops, various malls such as Tampines 1, Tampines Mall, and Century Square are conveniently clustered in the area.
Residents can also visit Our Tampines Hub (OTH), Singapore’s first integrated community and lifestyle hub. OTH houses the Tampines Regional Library, a hawker centre, an arts theatre, and a variety of sports facilities including swimming pools, sports hall, and gymnasium.
More recreational activities can also be found at Tampines North Community Club and Tampines Central Community Complex.

Optional Component Scheme
Tampines GreenCourt will be built using the Prefinished Prefabricated Volumetric Construction (PPVC) method. The pre-installed finishes will reduce the renovation works required and help home buyers move into their new flats sooner. Home buyers of PPVC projects will not need to make any selection under the Optional Component Scheme (OCS).
Eligible first-timer families can receive the Additional CPF Housing Grant of up to $40,000.
Flexi Flats and Fresh Start Housing Scheme
2-room Flexi flat prices are determined after taking into account factors such as the lease tenure, and whether buyers are first-timers, second-timers, or others.
Families who are on the Fresh Start Housing Scheme can also apply for short-lease 2-room Flexi flats. The Fresh Start Housing Scheme is meant to help second-timer families with young children, who stay in public rental flats, to own a flat again.
Useful Tips for Flat Buyers
- Consider applying for a BTO flat in non-mature towns to enjoy a higher chance of success in securing a flat.
- You can apply for only 1 flat type/ category in 1 town.
- Regular updates on the application numbers for the various flat types/ towns will be published on the HDB InfoWEB, so do check for updates before submitting your application.
- Applicants are shortlisted using a computer ballot; they are not processed on a first come first served basis. So there is no need to rush to submit your application.
- If you wish to take up an HDB housing loan for your flat purchase, you need to produce a valid HDB Loan Eligibility (HLE) Letter when you book a flat. Do check your loan eligibility and apply for an HLE letter atwww.hdb.gov.sg/hleapply.
Next Sales Launch
Applications for the November Sales Launch will close on Monday, 20 November 2017.
