Remember all the good memories we had as kids playing in the heartland playgrounds?

Now you can relive those precious moments at the upcoming playground exhibition, organised by the National Museum, in collaboration with HDB. It traces the evolution of playgrounds through the decades, and takes a peek into the future. I assure you, it is going to be an amazing blast from the past, and more!

‘The More We Get Together: Singapore’s Playgrounds 1930 – 2030’

Event Venue:  National Museum of Singapore, Stamford Gallery, Level 1

Event Date: 20 April to 30 September 2018, 10:00am - 7:00pm

Playgrounds are pretty much like pieces of art - quirky and fun, but rather random at times.  The themed playgrounds around the heartlands are the perfect example. Everyday objects like clocks, and fruits like mangosteens were the inspiration behind some of these playgrounds.

We will be at the launch of the exhibition on 20 April to give you the first scoop. Follow us on Instagram (@mynicehome) for live coverage of the launch!
