Last year, Pantone dubbed Ultra Violet as the colour of 2018. For 2019, the colour company has announced Living Coral as colour of the year.

What are the best ways to use Colour of 2019 in your home?

  1. New Coat of Paint

New year, new interiors. Go all out and give your home a dramatic makeover. If you prefer to keep your current paint job or wallpaper, try painting your ceilings, or install a kitchen backsplash.

  1. Accents

For a subtler look, keep additions of Living Coral small. For example, paint just a single feature wall or door, or decorate with cushions, rugs and bedding. You can get them in gradients to tone down the colour if you prefer.

  1. Pair It Well (Free Palettes!)

Being such a vibrant colour, Living Coral can very easily clash with other colours. To avoid this, pair it with cool navy, complementary pinks and clean whites. This colour palette easily mimics the natural beauty of corals in the ocean or during sunset. Here are some palettes we’ve made to get you started!

  1. Décor Items

If you would rather not paint or do renovation works, decorate your home with items that carry  pantone’s Living Coral  instead:
