This new year, my family decided to embrace the goodness of natural ingredients in a few ways. Using organic ‘cleaners’ is one of them. As we know, store-bought cleaning detergents contain a lot of chemicals that are often not environmentally-friendly and can cause skin irritation with frequent use.
Look no further than your refrigerators and cupboards for these natural cleaners 🙂
If life hands you lemons, do not just make lemonades – save some to make a multi-tasking cleaning agent as well! Here are some ways:
• Add some water to lemon juice and see it work its magic on mould, dirt and grease in your kitchen and bathroom.
• Add some salt to the mixture for a good polishing solution to use on chrome surfaces.
• Soak reusable food containers in lemon juice overnight to get rid of the food smells.
When life gives you lemons, grab all of them we say 🙂
A pinch of salt is all you need for cooking but you can sprinkle slightly more on fresh grease stains in your oven. Let the oven cool down and wipe down the stains.
Last up we have the trusty onions which can be used to clean the remnants that are stuck on your grill 🙂
We are sure that there are a whole lot more of items in your kitchen that make for fantastic cleaning products. Do share with us if you have any such cleaning tips via email@example.com or on our Facebook page 🙂
